Description: perennial sedge with rounded stems (1-3 ft.) and creeping rhizomes. The seeds form late spring through summer, and provide food for ducks and geese. Spikerush prefers wet sites and is often found in standing water. Obligate (usually occurs in wetlands). Sun, regular-standing water.
