Orange Honeysuckle · Lonicera ciliosa
Description: This deciduous vine has orange, trumpet-shaped flowers, 1-1 1/2 inches long, May to July. Trumpet Honeysuclke inhabits wooded slopes from British Colombia to California, east to western Montana and Arizona. It will grow in your Oregon garden with part sun and regular water, and entice hummimngbirds to greet you as well! Orange honeysuckle will run along the ground or scramble up into trees to a height of 20 feet. In 1999, it won an Award of Merit at a British garden show.
